Individual Match Tickets

Just as a clue as to how City are likely to be categorising individual matches when ticket’s eventually go on sale, these are how hospitality is been categorised this season. So I imagine ordinary tickets will be similar.

Surprised the first home game is a B

I suspect they're up to something different this year. They made so much money selling memberships before the Real Madrid semi-final, they'll likely leave the sale as late as possible, to sell more memberships. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they stagger the sales this year, releasing for individual games a few weeks beforehand, and selling more memberships, i.e. "City v Arsenal coming up", "buy a membership to have a chance of a ticket". We'll be in a lottery for a limited number of tickets with hundreds of thousands of "new members", loyalty points are irrelevant. United sell about 330k memberships annually, so @£35 each that's £11.5m, City will be looking at that that model. I might be wrong, banking all the matchday revenue in July is surely attractive, but Haaland and the Treble have opened up the Membership treasure trove. The "legacy fans" will lose out, judging by the number of City jerseys on the streets, our ability to get tickets is about to change drasticallly, and the prices will be eye-watering. I suppose it's progress, the success has been wonderful, we've gone to see some awful muck down the years, the last 10 have been amazing. When the opponents chant WWYWYWS, we've alway laughed, we we right here watching the shit. Next season many more in our ground will be day trippers, and glory hunters. At least the ground will be packed every game, it always pretty much sold out, but the unused "sold but empty" seats will disappear, and that's good. I genuinely welcome all the new fans, I just wish my "loyalty" points meant something when it comes to getting tickets.

It feels weird, the newbies are all flocking to see Haaland, that's a factor of his sheer goal numbers, and the media hype, he's considred in the top 2 in the world, but no disprespect to Erling, we've had much better footballers in past, the Silvas, KDB, to name but 3, a real fotball fan should have been bursting to get to see those guys play, but the TikToK and Insta fans just want to say they've seen Haaland.

Good luck to the fellow "Legacy Matchday Members", after what they did to us for the UCL home semi-final I really fear the worst this year when it comes to getting tickets.

It is weird all the Haaland fanboys. Obviously the amount of goals attracts headlines but Sergio was a much better footballer to watch. The issue with him was keeping him fit each season.

I think the main issue at the moment is the movement of season ticket holders in the north stand, both level one and two season ticket holders will have to be relocated at different times. More so level 2. So the club need seats to relocate them at some point. Maybe not before Christmas but by Easter things around the cable net structure will be happening.

Don't think football YouTube was quite as big when the likes of Sergio and Spanish Dave were in their prime Edgy. The buzz that followed Haaland from Dortmund was huge, and a lot of it was YouTube generated. The transfer saga only added to it, and then you've got the fact that he looks like a Marvel superhero...

That's my take too. A genetic freak. He's the player you used to create on FIFA that's a 7 foot, 15 stone battering ram yet can still run as fast as Usain Bolt. The honeymoon start to his City career where he just seemed to get a hat-trick every home game obviously helped too.

I do wonder how many a prime Sergio would have got in this team. Don't think there's many from Sergio's pre-Guardiola days that would make it into this side.

Silva, Toure, Hart, Zabba - one hell of a bench that is.

Any idea of when they will release matchday tickets? Newcastle home is just over 5 weeks away...

Going to be a mad rush for tickets this year thanks to the Real Madrid at home debacle and recruitment of newbies. Hope they implement some form of criteria for the key games.

Blues who can get to the Newcastle game should fill their boots as there will be decent ticket availability. Due to the anti social time and holiday season. Then I agree tickets will be scarce for other games.

It’s obviously easier to get individual tickets but Blues looking to get say enough tickets for a family can book through their local OSC Branch. The tickets won’t be in the family stand though.

Think the Manchester OSCs are deluged to be honest. I know people who have been knocked back, with groups saying they aren't taking new members this year or putting in unofficial joining criteria - points, nominations etc. Going to be pot luck for all Matchday Members this season imo

The deadline to request tickets for the opening home games through the OSC is Wednesday.mate. The downside is the tickets are usually on Level 3 and full match price (compared with buying on forums that are usually a few quid less).

It’s all legit.
