Individual player reactions to goals

Cherkis goal yesterday was a good one as all of them were very animated when it goes in. Was a great watch.

They all looked like kids who were having a blast. In fact it reminded me of my kids when they were like 11-12ish and had practiced some ridiculous play for hours and then managed to successfully pull it off in a game. It made me wonder if they’d been working on this play a lot in practice (clearly Foden had tried it earlier in the game). Josko drops to his knees immediately when it goes in and then goes berserk. There was such genuine joy in all their faces.

I like the natural reactions to goals and absolutely hate the choreographed bollocks. I'm pretty sure I saw a player recently do something that NFL players do - looks like they are mimicking eating from a bowl. Fucking awful. The NFL is shocking for it - some real toe curlingly bad stuff, and we'll get there. The natural stuff is great, like someone said above about Donnarumma, just joy (Joe Hart at the Aguero goal type stuff).
