"Informal, less organised club" according to Boateng

Or maybe he shows you his world cup winners medal when he didn't let Messi have a sniff?

On the fans side Kitbag, catering and ticket sales etc why would anyone have a great issue with what he said?

Oh get you precious little thing, i don't even care what he said so wind your neck in i was having a laugh you touchy so and so.

It seems having gentle fun at our opponents hits a nerve with some of the more touchy souls on here. Did that comment really hurt you that much ffs haha, deary me.

He's right, we are nowhere near Bayern in regards to history and day to day running of the club. Pep has his work cut out, but I have no doubt the club will be in a better place 3 years from now with him at the helm.

I will take criticism from a player who has won everything in the game. We had him and chose Lescott and Kolo over him. He was shafted to right back and overlooked by both Zab and Richards. Who knows what happened with this lad's attitude behind the scenes, but Mancini, as much as I love him, dropped a bollock with letting Boateng go. And we are still looking for Vinny's partner 5 years on, and almost £100m lighter.

It's no surprise really. On his first day he probably met the staff escorted by Chappy dressed as a teletubby, was made to sit next to some old bloke called Bernard on the team bus going to his first game and when he wanted two tickets for his family to come and watch him play, had to queue up at the ticket office for 7 hours....

Have you experience of the day to day running of both clubs? If not then how would you know if he's right or not?

Lol. Very funny...

what it is evidence of is the media loving to made a cut and paste story up.

how long ago did boeteng say this, what interview was it a line from and what was the other content.

Yeah, probably a quote from years ago. And so what? Too many flappers out there...

You saw your arse at a gentle bit of fun and snapped back with a chippy remark about his medals.
If it helps you sleep to think you did not see your arse though then fill yer boots :-)

You have to admit the gifs after Messi twisted him up were funny.

Up until the mid 70s Bayern's history of success was comparable to ours. Whatever the G14 and media might say we haven't reached the end of history.

I was carrying on the 'gentle bit of fun' and you lost it with some mad rant then tried to save face.

It's funny because it's true!

More likely Chappy started crying on his shoulder after Mancini didnt high five him on the corridor

He is still playing centre back for Bayern. I did not read the article as him being critical of us, just the difference to where we were then and what he found at Bayern.
A German player will always want to play for Bayern and speak well of his present club. Pity we held him in disregard compared to other players at the time, and our mistake in selling him.
