Iniesta,great player,great cheat

Van Bommel was a dirty **** throughout the world cup. If he had got the red card he deserved when going through the back of Iniesta earlier on the above incident would never have happened.

Well lets work on your basis here then

Van bommel should of had 5 yellows and 2 reds
De Jong should of got 4 Reds for the 1 challenge
Van persie should of got a red
Robben for his constant arms out whining, shouting at the ref , at least 3 yellows and 1 red
Sneijder for shouting in the refs face 1 red
Heitinga 2 yellows = a 1 red

I think that about evens it up

You are obviously very upset that Holland lost, maybe you should join the Dutch media they fucking great at twisting what actually happened last night

anyway who does that to van bommel is a legend :) i hate van bommel with a passion the dirty cheat

At the risk of sounding like a clarkie, is this a joke?

Love Iniesta, the perfect player.

That's from the different game i watched to you that you was talking about,& we have a world cup winner at our club AND a runner up so what's to be upset about.
He's a cheat & he was at it all the game.

Would Webb have still booked Heitinga if he'd seen the replay, the spaniard gets caught cheating again even though their was contact he still dived.

Look i dont wanna argue with a fellow blue and different opinions are what make a forum but you are in a minority of 1 with your views. Holland were horrible and gave football a terrible name last night, webb didnt handle it well but if he had got hold of it early it would of ended with 5 players sent off

If someone is dragging you back, you fall backwards, Iniesta fell forwards, but considering the kicking he'd had from Van Bommel, I think it was sweet justice for the Dutch. Heitinga a victim of his own team's villainy. Karma comes in many ways.

Although I don't believe for a second that Iniesta and pals cheated their way to a world cup, the OP does have a point.

I've watched Spain enough times recently and it is like watching Real or Barca. They play great stuff but they (especially Barca (Main culprit being Busquets)) have a tendency to use the dark arts to some level to get fouls and bookings. Not as much as individuals such as Robben or Drogba, but way more than the average. If you watch the Spain vs Portugal match, they out-perform Portugal in this regard, which is significant.

But they are nonetheless really good, so I'll let it slide :P

Yellow for the dive Yellow for the assault, obviously cheats do prosper,it takes years of practice to get that good.

I've been a huge fan of Iniesta for about 4 years and watch a lot of Barca and thus him and there could be 50 players in this world who cheat more than Iniesta - Robben Srna Busquets Drogba CRonaldo to name a few.

And where did he cheat there!? If you see the footage he gets stooded by Van Bommel and then retaliates; that's not cheating (watch it properly, he really did not dive!). That's life! He should'v twatted the prick, but instead deservedly scored the World Cup winning goal!

Van Bommel should have been sent off in every stage of the knock out phase at the WC for countless incidents in games where he should have been booked and booked and booked or straight red carded, but got away with it every fucking time!

I'd be extatic if we ever signed Iniesta; I wouldn't cross the road to watch Van Bommel!

Have another look, from being mortally wounded by a sniper he suddenly realises he's wearing cavlar & springs up like a new man hell bent on revenge.
Or he spotted no one was falling for his act & barged Bommel to the floor.
It wasn't just him though & i take your point about Bommel.

"It annoyed me that Cristiano told me not to dive because he is not exactly the best person to tell anyone that," the Spain midfielder said after the game.
I remember that game & that's a shocker to be rebuked for diving of Ronaldo.

The dutch playacting again! Acting as a victim the instigator van Bommel is vantastic.

After kicking the bejesus out of Iniesta from behind, then 'placed himself to be bumped or bounced sideways' as though Iniesta was retaliating. This is of Shakespearean Theatrics.

50% of the fouls in modern football the players could probably stay on their feet if they wanted to. The problem is refs don't give a free-kick if you don't fall over, so you can be fouled against (i.e. impeded), but whether you get a free-kick or not depends on if you fall over. Obviously leads to a lot of diving.

Although whether Iniesta was actually impeded there or just felt the hand on his shoulder and dived to get him sent off, it's hard to tell from a video, stupid from Heitinga though.

Sorry blue, can't agree.

Iniesta is a fecking amazing player, who has to go down to get a foul in the modern game. If the ref's would blow when they saw the foul in the first place then he wouldn't have to go down, but we've all seen it happen where the guy stays on his feet and there's no whistle.

And Iniesta got frustrated at the fact he was being fouled by the Dutch all over the place.

It's a Barcelona thing, Barcelona like people to believe the fairytale image of their club but the truth is that they are as cynical a side as you'll see anywhere.
The constant surrounding of refs and waving of imaginary cards is appalling, they know exactly what they're doing.
