While no player ever thinks they’ll get injured, an intelligent guy like Stonesy knows he’s at risk and still chooses to play. It’s hard not to draw from this the take that he values potential success with England this summer more than success with us.
We have cover at cb, but Stones will be a big miss. Akanji if fit can play in the hybrid role but he is not as good as John.I think they will all be available, except for Stones.
