Get the fuck in there.
A few return cameos would certainly fit the bill.Wonder if we might see similar to the Newcastle away game comes on second half ?
I just want him back performing to his best lots of games and hugely important now coming up ..
John's on the plane - with his injury issues, his job for England is to play qualifiers (preferably avoiding the minnows) and tournament games. Friendlies are for fringe players - other than immediately before a tournament. John has to be wrapped in cotton wool for us all to see the best of him - like a few other exceptional players. I'm still boiling that he started the two friendlies. One of the most infuriating things about the injuries from the internationals is the uncertainty of it all.
Because the games were friendlies, players are told to come off if they feel the slightest twinge. A lot of the time, nobody knows if it’s something minor and every chance they will be back in action the following weekend or if it’s serious and potentially season ending. Chances are it’s something between the two extremes but the waiting for concrete information is what kills you.
Kyle Walker is a serious doubt for Man City's clash with Arsenal
The City captain was forced off with a hamstring problem during the 1-0 friendly defeat against Brazil at Wembley - before John Stones hobbled out of the draw with Belgium with an ankle injury.www.dailymail.co.uk
If Jack Gaughans latest piece is to be believed we may end up fielding
Ortega
Lewis Dias Gvardiol Ake
Rodri Kovacic Foden
Bernardo Haaland Doku
Which is the worst case scenario, and I’d back that team to beat Arsenal at home.
City have to manage his game time, and for the bucktoothed **** to start him twice in quick succession is a disgrace. It shows that the waistcoat wanker cares more about getting a result in a friendly, than looking after the wellbeing of his players long term.John's on the plane - with his injury issues, his job for England is to play qualifiers (preferably avoiding the minnows) and tournament games. He's a ****.
Conveniently forgetting about him sitting on the bench the whole game against Chelsea and Brentford in the last few weeks. His minutes obviously are managed by the club, only a knobhead would argue otherwise.Where do people get this idea that City have to carefully manage Stones’ game time come from?
He just started 6 games in a row for us. The Copenhagen game (which he played in) was the first City game he’d not started since he returned from injury.
When Stones is fit, he plays every game for us, and that seems to be the way he and the club are happy with.
