It's fucking ridiculous calling up players who haven't played for their club due to being injured..
The players really need to say they aren't fit enough to travel and train with their national squad.
If any who are struggling with fitness etc go on international duty and get injured then they need fucking off.

Hopefully they'll spare a thought for their employers who actually pay their huge salaries.
I think they will but will be hugely disappointed in them if they don't, not that that matters in anything ha

I tend to lean in that direction also. Walker is probably on his way at the end of the season and Grealish is being surpassed by Doku and Savinho.

If Grealish goes and plays for England something has clearly gone on within the club, no way would we let him go if he was injured and unable to play for us.

Grealish's injuries are starting to frustrate me, he can't stay fit for any significant time since last season, had the summer off so I expected him to start hot but these injuries are killing him, I hope he doesn't become like Stones.

Quite a few in the squad are becoming old and increasingly injury prone. It's time to phase these players out. Unfortunately, Johnny Boulders and Super Kev come into that category.

Thought at the time when I heard Pep's comments on a player who won't play through pain that it was Grealish, but then was led to believe that it was KDB

if they're not injured, they need some minutes and fitness desperately.

let them play with the reserves or EDS team then. Least we can control it better with medical team looking at it.

Only down side is if we pull them from the squad, isn't there a rule in place about a player playing for his club?

Plus they play matches against pub teams with no pressure on them. Apart from major tournaments international games have become a total joke. Worthless and meaningless fixtures. Essentially a hiding place for those players who can't hack it at the highest levels in the PL and CL.

Since when did 30 become "old" ? He (JS) should be in his prime for 2 more years as a CB.

I dont even see the point in England calling Walker up. Hes not playing in the next World Cup. these are glorified friendlies. Why pick a 34 year old?
