Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

That has fucked us royally. We don't have a midfield now and have our toughest period of the season ahead of us. It's going to a a long, long month or so until January.
 
Fuck this season seriously, wasn’t confident about the game tomorrow anyway now it’s completely shattered can’t wait for next season already fucking raging
 
Kovacic too. Haha. Fuck me. Who for defensive midfield then?

Gvardiol? Jonny Boulders? Akanji?

As much as I love me some Kovaball, it might be turning point in the season whereby we have to change our approach and tactics. Maybe now two holding midfielders?

Either way. Excited to see what Pep produces. I personally wouldn’t mind some extra midfield numbers and stability to save us being ran through with ease. Especially with the dippers coming up.
 
been saying it since the beginning of the season, bernie into midfield, has everything you want, can put a tackle in, reads the game well, only thing he lacks is height, conversely jacob wright looked bang tidy when he came on against spurs

I watched gvardiol the other night for Croatia and he looks perfect for a defensive midfielder role
