Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

We have to bite the bullet, give the injured players the full recovery time, otherwise we just end up playing half-fit players who are then out again for 2/3 weeks.
Ake, Stones, Akanji, KDB, Dias, all clearly not fully fit, all continually rushed back and all back in the treatment room.
Need to buy/ loan a couple and give youngsters some game time, if not we will be well and truly in the s…t

I was just about to post exactly that.

The injured players shouldn’t play again until they’re fully fit. They have all obviously been played when still injured.

The run we’re on doesn’t matter now in terms of the title, the title is gone, and we only need about two or three more wins to stay up. So just play fit players no matter their age and get those injured back fully fit when they’re ready.

This is my take all season.
Every other top club is not rushing players back.
Allison and Tront were out for a good while and Bradley and Kelleher were called up. When both Tront and Allison were declared fit and included in the panel, they were still rested.
Note that Liverpool didn't start moving players around to cover Tront but brought in a direct replacement in Bradley from their reserves.
Odegaard was out for the bumnal and again he wasn't rushed back.
Watching Stones, Gundogan and Walker is like the footballing equivalent of Nadal Federer and Djokovic.
Imperious players whose bodies are gone being given the run around by younger opposition
