Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

Stones out for 8-10 weeks according to Pep, surgery not required. Dias fit.

Oscar Bobb still out with pain in a metatarsal, told to stop training by the doctors until fully resolved. Pep says he "feels really good" and "will be back soon".

I think it might have been. The press conference gets split into 2. Pre-embargo and post-embargo. I think I have watched both but they merge into one in my mind. Last thing I heard was that Haaland is feeling better and we will assess his inclusion based on reaction to training.

Yes, you're right. Erling was asked about in the pre-embargo one with the answer you've given (assess after training).

Don’t get me wrong, I think he should go in the summer, but I’m not sure we’ll manage to shift him unless someone’s willing to take a huge gamble on him.

Apologies; I had it in my head that his contract was up this summer. I need to speak to my parole officer about getting out a bit more.

We simply cannot afford to carry injuries like this. Is it lifestyle, is it training? Is it shagging to many love island birds??
Huge huge surgery required I am afraid. Doubt we will see stones again in a city shirt . Top lad love him but when push comes to shove way to injury prone. Absoluteley love Ake but again made of glass and as for Dias, his regression has been frightening. I am a lone voice but I simply do not rate him at all anymore

Dias and stones brought the best out of each other. Dias is not the same player without Johnny IMHO. Johnny can play effectively with others but the injuries just don’t stop with him

He has one year left. If someone comes in and offers him a three or four year deal, even or most likely on less money, I reckon he would most probably leave.

I don't think Dias has been the same defender since he adopted the "arms behind your back" blocking position. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I swear he didn't do that in his first season when he won Player of the Year.

I would not mind, but that is the most un-natural position that you could ever stick your arms.

Can someone maybe a bit clued up on an ACL injury do they do a number of scans check ups after the surgery to see if everything is ok,for instance would Rodri be due any more check ups now even with him back training ?
