Injuries 2024/25 | Ake & Bobb return to training

On the 24th April, the Norway manager stated that Oscar was injured.
An announcement on the 8th May that the injury is long gone is, therefore, false.
There is absolutely no need to take risks with a talent like Bobb's. Allow him to recover fully.
 
Bobb and Ake training but not in the squad yet for tomorrow, neither Rodri and Stones. But Haaland is back.
that again will cause some headache to Pep which players to tell that you cannot even sit on the bench.

I guess he can only pick one of McAtee, Khusanov, Reis to be on bench.

feel a bit sorry for Reis, apart from some FA cup games vs some dross sides (Leyton, Plymouth), he wasnt picked. hopefully being tried out in club world cup.
 
When Stones got injured his longest estimated time out had him returning to action 2 weeks ago.

Anyone know an update? “Getting better” doesn’t count!

Bit of a mystery this. Where has he been all season & why is there no detail anywhere about his injury. Think it might be mental or personal issues …..

He's been excellent the last month or so.

If he's staying next season, get him sorted now, he's banned for I assume as well as the last game of the season, the first 2 next season with fucking international breaks he'll be ready for late September when his ban ends.

Only a one game ban for DOGSO so he’ll be available for the first game of next season

It wasn't violent conduct, so he should only miss Sunday
 
Depressing news about Kovacic, even if not entirely unexpected .... makes it all the more important to get that lad in from Milan, or Rodri will be pulling his b..llocks out trying to run the midfield on his own again, as he did before his injury.
 
Makes it all the more amazing how he played so well this season. I'm sure hes been playing with that niggling away at him for a while. Get him fixed and we might see an even better version next season.
 
He was fantastic towards the end of the season (he was for most of it to be fair) and I'm glad he's staying. I presume he would've been anyway but the fact he has this injury now probably means it's even more likely.

I'd argue Pep will find it 'easier' to rotate him too which may make space for Nico O'Reilly to play more games centrally.
