Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

The injuries aren't ideal, but thanks mainly to the virtual non existent official communication we have to rely on contradictory twitter rumours and the odd response from Pep in a press conference (which immediately becomes headlined and twisted on social media)

Oscar Bobb was injured mid August and we were told 3-4 months for his recovery
That would mean sometime around mid December, but now we're told that everything is ahead of schedule and he could be back in Jan/Feb.

Because they don't know what they are doing. Another example De Bruyne was left without surgery all Summer for his hamstring injury then it pinged the first game he played against Burnley and he missed half the season. What the fuck is going on here? They are paid to make the right calls in this situation and they didn't! Time and time again. Why aren't they helping Pep out and providing excuses to International teams when they take our players for friendlies like the medical staff at Liverpool and Arsenal do. It's not fucking good enough. Only 1 of our injuries was down to impact and that's Rodri. The training and recovery isn't fucking right. The injury list speaks for itself.

We currently have six players who cannot play through injury: Rodri, Bobb, Grealish, Dias, Stones and De Bruyne. With Walker and Aké also playing injured, making eight.

There are currently 11 other clubs in the PL with between 5-8 players out injured.

Was the schedule a surprise to us? Why did we choose to have the smallest squad of any top European team? It's the first week of November, the crazy schedule hasn't even kicked in yet. If we already can't handle it better admit we've fucked up and write the season off. Though according to Pep we don't need reinforcement in January. Just keep playing ancient Ilkay every single game and we'll be fine.

Well you said "impact", which it wasn't, it's a twist that ruptured his ACL.

You have all the theories and explanations, and obviously City are unprofessional and useless with regards to player welfare.

City are to blame for being incompetent and not relying on more knowledgeable people from BM threads.

What else could possibly be the answer ?

Dias obviously prefers partying to playing games , just like Jack , another bleeding waste of money and time !

It just goes on and on.

Why not do a full assessment of all the wasters and cheats City have ?
