Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

The 'red card' foul on Erling on Saturday is a classic example.

Stroke someone's face ..off you go..try to break their leg..high bar.

Pigmol and Webb are focused on the wrong things !!
Yeah exactly.
The same yesterday, 'the lickle butcher' gets the same punishment for a really dangerous tackle on Palmer as Jackson did for going over to complain about how bad a tackle it was

Very true, They are mainly tactical fouls we give away which result in yellows, It's funny though because we get that alot against opportunity and goes unpunished but that's down to the inconsistency of the officials.

I've lost count as sure along with many others being at games finding yourself saying "Is he going to book him yet?" after his 6th foul in 20 minutes! :-)

Yesterday is actually a good example too, Ugarte made a bad foul on the halfway line to try and stop a counter but the ref played advantage and when the game stopped he didn't book Ugarte, Ugarte eventually got booked in the second half and had made 6 fouls (after his yellow) and stayed on the pitch.

It being the best league in the world, The officiating is possibly one of the worst unfortunately.
It's the best officiating in the world.... for certain teams

I can’t help wondering which teams benefit most from these kind of decisions

The one thing everyone seems to have missed with that foul is that whilst he took the ball cleanly he then raise his boot higher in his follow through which took out Erling. Absolutely no need to do that. That's what the game should be clamping down on.

Agreed.

I understand football is a contact sport and rightly so, I'm all for a tough tackle (not going in to deliberately injure an opponent of course). But common has has to come into play with these officials, The amount of times every weekend our lads get kicked around is absolutely ridiculous.

The worst part of it all is when you see the stats after every game, For example:

Fouls:

Ipswich - 30

Man City - 4

Yellows:

Ipswich - 2

Man City - 3

It's always something along those lines, We make any foul and it's a yellow straight away whilst the opposition can kick lumps out of us and it's fine.
And that's with all the 'advantages' we get awarded too.

Absolute nonsense.... the punishment must fit the crime.

The freak dwarf is a reckless & dangerous thug who shouldve been red carded at least 4 times this season.

Can't wait for karma.
