Great player on his day but he misses too many games, the wrong side of 30 and only a year left on his contract so doubt very much we’d be offering him a new deal.Unless he gets fit and stays fit I am not sure how much longer we can carry this guy. A great player when he lines out but is a long way from dependable.

Just seen Rodri is back on a treadmill. With any luck we get him back in the last month of the season so he is fit for the World Cup.
Time will tell. I love the guy but he can’t be relied upon to stay fit.He is exactly 30.

I had it a few years ago mate, have you tried shockwave therapy? I had about half a dozen sessions and mine has never come back.Apparently has Plantar Fasciitis which is inflamation in the foot. Anybody who has had this will know how painful it is and how difficult it is to shift. I have had it for 18 months now! Ideally needs total rest which I certainly can't do. Fingers crossed it clears up soon for him.
