Injuries 2024/25 | Dias ruled out for a month

how is it unclear? he says he wont forget the players playing through pain for the club
It was weirdly worded to me (given English is not his first language). And when everyone said they were reading things into it, I wasn’t sure if I should be “reading” more than what I thought…I thought what you thought but then I doubted myself seeing others comments. Gah, just ignore me!

I have no idea what's going on, I hope a lot of hot air to be honest, but this is the most 'uncomfortable' feeling the manager/squad have given outwardly in some years. Hopefully nowt and we'll be firing on all cylinders come Christmas.

Seems alot of bullshit. There is no way a player is not turning out for city and pep if fit.

They would be sold very quickly if that was the case.

I will always back the boss and club over any player. So if we do have some who are not up for the fight anymore, move them on.

Pep’s probably just pissed off that there are so many injuries and he’s telling the ones that are nearly ready to step up and play through the pain as the team needs them now.

It’s never a bad thing to see Pep like this. Remember how the happy flowers rage morphed us into treble winners?

Wild assumptions being made here based based off absolutely nothing.

To me, all Pep is saying there is he appreciates the players who are pushing themselves to be available for him in a period where options are limited, that doesn't necessarily mean there's players who aren't doing that or he's having a dig at anybody currently unavailable.

Jack Grealish is right. No one knows what people are going through and being kind doesn’t hurt.
Just because these lads earn tons of money doesn’t mean they can’t/don’t feel things.
There’s a song I always try to think of when someone’s behaviour puzzles me:
No one knows, what goes on behind closed doors.

Personally I think it best to wait until either the club or player comes out with a definitive statement and not believe rumours read on social media. JMHO
