Crocky Santa Cruz?
***coughs***30 is not old for a CB. However Stones is so injury prone that he can’t be relied on. I’ve never known a player be injured as much as him.
I agree, but I think we underestimate how much these guys enjoy going off to play for their country. Change of scenery, see fellow countrymen, different manager etc etc. A nice break from the norm for them.We know Doku, Erling, Bernardo, Phil and Akanji will be flogged to death and play both games on International duty even if their respective countries are up against total dogshit nations. Pisses me off
So as a club under a severe injury crisis you would be happy for a player that has not be seen for the last 4 games to suddenly make a recovery and play for his country? You are so fucking dramatic about everything , lol
There are currently nine teams with more injuries than we have. I wouldn’t even describe five players out with a few only just coming back as severe. So as a club under a severe injury crisis you would be happy for a player that has not be seen for the last 4 games to suddenly make a recovery and play for his country?
Nothing dramatic about what I said, it's just a siltation that is very, very strange.
If Grealish is back against Brighton and plays 90 minutes then there is no issue.

It’s the quality of our squad that is making it seem worse than it is. We are used to not noticing a handful of players being out due to having a fairly low drop off in quality from our best players around the rest of the squad.
At one time, if Sterling, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Otamendi and Kompany (like Bobb, Grealish, Rodri, Stones and Dias are out now) were out injured, we’d still have a starting line-up almost as good, if not as good, as if they were there.
Even players like Delph really stepped up to a high level of performance when Mendy got injured. Playing out of position, he was MOTM a few times in a season that no other team has ever reached, even banged in a couple of goals into the top corner. Now we’re excited that Nunes has worked hard and put a few good crosses in and hasn’t looked total shite like last season.
We are now seeing what more normal teams do.

Jack Rodwell
I bet they do, getting paid by their clubs to do it tooI agree, but I think we underestimate how much these guys enjoy going off to play for their country. Change of scenery, see fellow countrymen, different manager etc etc. A nice break from the norm for them.
