Injuries 2024/25 | players injured

You have all the theories and explanations, and obviously City are unprofessional and useless with regards to player welfare.

City are to blame for being incompetent and not relying on more knowledgeable people from BM threads.

What else could possibly be the answer ?

Dias obviously prefers partying to playing games , just like Jack , another bleeding waste of money and time !

It just goes on and on.

Why not do a full assessment of all the wasters and cheats City have ?
Could we do one on some of the “clever” posters on here. That would be a laugh

Because they don't know what they are doing. Another example De Bruyne was left without surgery all Summer for his hamstring injury then it pinged the first game he played against Burnley and he missed half the season. What the fuck is going on here? They are paid to make the right calls in this situation and they didn't! Time and time again. Why aren't they helping Pep out and providing excuses to International teams when they take our players for friendlies like the medical staff at Liverpool and Arsenal do. It's not fucking good enough. Only 1 of our injuries was down to impact and that's Rodri. The training and recovery isn't fucking right. The injury list speaks for itself.
We’re all frustrated pal but you’re wrong here. We have the best guys in the business but sometimes the best laid plans are beset by misfortune.

Regardless of the current situation I’m sure you’d agree that our coaching, medical and sports science depts have an unrivalled ability to get our squad fit and firing season after season when it counts most - in the run in.

Might as well get used to the injuries cos they’re gonna happen more and more over the next few seasons.
As long as teams are playing stupid amount of games, more so teams playing in Europe the injuries will continue.
More champions league games, more international football and yet squad sizes stay the same size, so does the allowed losses over 3 seasons.
We’re already seeing how all these extra games are affecting the quality of football.
It’s dropping season upon season, more so from the top 6.
International football quality is night and day from what it once was.
Rodri told them but they didn’t listen cos he plays for City with its vast amount of wealth and its huge squad size and 4 players in every position.
They either allow bigger squads are more spending or the injuries will continue and the standard of football will continue to decline.
A good start would be to remove all teams playing in Europe from the league cup.
That gives the players a much needed rest and also gives teams outside the top 6 more chance of a trophy.

I fear you are spitting into the wind because the people running the games are just driven by extracting the greatest amount of money possible, and the welfare of the players is not their prime consideration..

more and more games will impact upon the most successful clubs , and will if not having already done so,

Too much money involved for those running the game, with little if any concern for player wellbeing.

The most successful clubs will have to just get on with it because nobody will want to be the one who tells them to tuck off.

Just greed with no responsibility for the outcomes, as the players are collateral damage.

Yep we’re milking the cash cow dry.
If arsenal miss out the league this season for what’s perceived as injuries being at fault, then maybe they’ll take more notice.
Maybe they could write a letter : )
A players strike might not be a bad thing, which I could see happening if it continues.

Is this the worst run of injuries we've ever had? I don't remember one quite like it. Certain players seem to be injured a lot. Dias, Grealish for two. Phil has his share too. Johnny Stones has always had this problem. Since Ake joined us he's another one who's unfit a fair bit. Weirdly consider how much he was flogged to death Rodri was rarely injured until he picked this bad one up.

Arsenal miss out because of injuries? What, both of them?
