Rodri has been “close” for three weeks now. Not even on the bench and described as “out” by Pep.

We are doing well without him all things considered. I can’t think of too many players that have played less through injury over the last 18 months. I even saw Stones a few games ago I swear it!

I really think there is a big difference in being fit to play and having the sharpness that playing 90 minutes every week gives a player.....it might only be half a yard over a 15 yard sprint but as an attacker it all counts. Bobb had an horrendous injury & Savinho has looked sharper in the last few weeks. I am positive both of them can get to Doku's level very soon.

Really what isn't correct about that ? Maybe you think he plays 60bgames a season.a player that plays on average a third of the available games but still wants to piss about with England is no use to us .

I'm not sure if it's the language barrier, or Pep being deliberately glib, or possibly just plain bad luck, but every time I hear "2-3 weeks" I recall the comments surrounding previous injuries to Bobb/Rodri/Kovacic and immediately think 2-3 months.
