Could have done with Delph last night too
Could have done with Delph last night too
Because Fernandinho want on his usual best form and delph would have strengthened the midfieldWhy?
Not sure if it's just me but I've given up trying to track injuries and when they'll be back. As soon as ones fit someone else is crocked.
Baffling, no mention at all from him. On the OS at the bottom of the press conference it said Nasri, Kompany, Fernando and Zab injured, no mention of Clichy or Delph then Zab turns up on the bench, very strange.Apologies if I've missed it, but did Pellegrini explain why Delph, Clichy and Fernando weren't in the squad yesterday? Are they all injured again?
I was really pleased when Pellegrini declared that we had a fully fit squad (other than Nasri) before the Sunderland game. Less than a week on we've potentially got four new injuries again.

As long as non of them were festively related.I was really pleased when Pellegrini declared that we had a fully fit squad (other than Nasri) before the Sunderland game. Less than a week on we've potentially got four new injuries again.

Vinny was in the stands as he has been every gameMaybe they just didn't travel with the team. Did Kompany travel with them? Was he in the stands or back home in Manchester?
Though Delph was relatively cheap at £8m, he's hardly been fit, it's becoming a huge problem as he offers us no rotational choice.
Clichy too has been nowhere to be seen this season.

I can assure you when they travel on planes they have more leg room than I have in my lounge/living room :)I know he is in the stands at the home games Karen7, I just wondered if he always travels to away games. If he travels on a coach with the rest of the squad that could account in part for his strained groin/calf not healing as quickly as it should. Being cramped on a plane or a coach can't be doing much for it. I'm not allowed to travel too far in a coach or a car at the moment because of a calf & ankle problem as it could seize up again.
I realise that they have more leg room on their coach but even so, sitting for that length of time travelling can't be good for him. :-)
