KDB is back to his best now. Earlier in the season he scarcely deserved to start. Now he is devastating.

I don't think we should look beyond the next game. I am not too bothered about the long term. We just give our best, and see if that is good enough

A bit ironic that you rest virtually the whole best 11, and still lose arguably your most influential player. Sods law.

It's not Sod's law - this is what happens when players are playing tough games every 3 days. That is exactly why Pep has had to rotate the squad

A proper ligament ankle sprain will take that long.
Just hope he’s not ruptured ligaments...

Not true - a grade 1 is 2 weeks. Grade 2 can be 4-6 weeks

Wouldn't surprise me if KDB aside, Pep picks the same team as with Chelski for Villa and Spurs, Pete.

No chance. Thats effectively throwing games and he wont do that.

You just know it will be at least a month out. City’s injuries are never slight ones. Whereas Saint Harry will come skipping back next Sunday.

The 2 players that started yesterday who we would have been desperate to avoid injury would have been KDB and Dias, the fact KDB is now out injured, I think qualifies as Sods Law, especially after trying to protect the players by making wholesale changes from Dortmund. If there's players you want to protect in the run up to a CL semi, surely KDB and Dias would be at the top of the list, making that many changes (8) but starting those 2 doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me I'm afraid.

No the point is he didn't protect KDB and he got injured. if anything, that's cause and effect not Sod's law.

Lets just say it was a half hearted team selection, and I certainly wouldn't have put those 2 players at risk on the back of that. Anyway I'm off out for a nice walk, enjoy your afternoon.
