Can't wait to see him back. Sane too, if he's focused on us and not Bavaria. But Laporte is the one we need fit and raring to go asap. So much more than a strong centre back.

If December is a busy month for Liverpool and their wafer thin squad, and we keep on picking up points, seeing those two come back in January could push the Kloppites back into reality. They may even push the parade back to April or May.

As I was 60 last week the wife treated me and got tickets for the Tunnel club and it just so happened that he was sat on the next table so I just asked him about the injury and he said that he doesn't think he will be back before the new year.

Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte have returned to the City Football Academy, as they step up their recoveries from serious injuries. City have not put a timescale on the return of Sane and Laporte, with neither player back working with a ball yet. [@jonnysmiffy]
