Mendy might be late Feb. but that's probably a rough estimate. Giardiola was asked whether Silva would be involved in the Christmas programme and Guardiola said he trained on Friday but did not know. I guess it depends on how the player feels and whether he has any reaction to the hamstring strain. I think City train on Christmas Day so we may know more tomorrow evening - if there are any updates on mancity.com.

I think Danilo is back in training but he wasn't in the squad for Palace. I think he's fit, and will probably be available for next games.

Post Palace Guardiola said Fern felt injury in Friday's training session, and so he played Stones. I assume that it's a thigh injury. Not clear how long he'll be out for.

Sounds like we have issues of match fitness and small niggles
