Pep when we had injures comes up with something the last couple of years we have had injures to key players and we still won trophies! Think this will be Peps biggest test if Laporte is out for most of the season, unless Garcia steps in and does the business.

If it is the season, then we would probably buy or loan in January. Up until JanuaryChampions league group should be fine with what we have, apart from a handful of league games again not too worried. The tough games would be liverpool, Arsenal, and Leicester for me.

Dislocated kneecap: 6-8 month
ACL: 7-9 month

Either way, we look a bit fucked in the centre back department for a foreseeable future.
What worries me the most is that Laporte has been the backbone of our defense since he joined us. No other defender has his top quality. No one can tell just yet how this will affect our chances to retain the league crown, but if Liverpool continue to win and Laporte is out for a long time, it doesn’t look bright for us. I’m aware that Ferna and Walker can step in but they still can’t be compared to Laporte.

I wonder if Eric Garcia is ready. Pep doesn’t seem to trust him just yet?

Disloctaed kneecap isn't that serious, it would be far more preferable than a diclocated knee.

I will go with factured femur seen as it was an impact injury.

Explain the difference between dislocated kneecap and dislocated knee. I doubt you can actually dislocate your knee, and I should know a thing or two about this since I have dislocated my kneecap - twice. It hurts like a motherf*cker and while Laporte was in pain, I doubt that’s what happend.

If it requires surgery (which it probably will), then atleast five month out, probably closer to seven.

The knee cap is a tiny bone on a tendon, the knee is more complex, it is the whole joint with three bones and mucles, ligament and tendon, and there can be a lot of soft tissue damage.

"A dislocated knee occurs when the position of the thighbone relative to the shinbone becomes disrupted at the knee joint. It can happen through trauma to your leg, like from falls, sports injuries, and car accidents.

A dislocated knee is different than a dislocated kneecap. That occurs when the kneecap bone slips out of place. It can happen when a sudden change of direction or blow occurs while your foot is planted on the ground.

A dislocated knee is a rare but serious injury. Dislocation can damage several important ligaments, blood vessels, and nerves. The health and integrity of the joint and leg may be at risk."

Damn I wasn’t aware of something called dislocated knee. It explains why he was rushed to hospital.
Whatever it is, it’s probably really bad news.

I don’t get why Laporte had to commit to the challenge in the first place, going in so strong at full speed. It’s quite obvious an injury will happen. A slide tackle would have been preferable, or just a body tackle.

I can tell that KDB is much more cautious these days after his knee injuries. He doesn’t commit 100% to all challenges but rather make judgements for every situation.

I wonder why we continue to get these injuries. Liverpool play even tougher but they avoid these injuries. Is it something about Peps training methods? I wonder if they talk about this at all. It’s happening too often to be a coincidence.

I don't think it was as you can normally see it as the bottom part of your leg points in a different direction.

I thought Rodri did him no favours, not as bad as Mendy v Palace which was all down to Mendy.

I just tell the three Dipper fuckers that frequent my local how much I fucking hate them (the team, not them personally) and they are a disgrace for supporting a team outside Greater Manchester that is inhabited by the most vile scum on earth, it’s really cathartic, give it a go.

The problem is if you tell them you hate them , they then think they are relevant , i used to despise the Rags far more than any Dipper but the Dippers are now back on the radar after 15 years of obscurity , its a close call but never forget the Rags kicked us when we were down for decades

I am praying it is not a serious injury but fear the worst. I think Pep may be shopping in the January window if he is out for the season. Will be a huge loss
