I guess whether he’s got an injury or not, we are without him v Everton. Even if there’s technically no injury yet, I very much doubt we’d ignore the fact he complained of tightness. That is a warning sign. So he would hopefully be rested even if fit.

Id be surprised if he plays. Better to err on the side of caution with a muscle niggle. Especially with the games coming Up.
No way he plays tomorrow i dont think. Rodri, foden and bernie i a central 3 with sterling, jesus and mahrez up top is more than good enough. No need to take risks now we are in the position we are.

What's the situation of this guy ?

Considering Stones has finally started to show what he is capable of and Diaz is "best defender in the world" and Laporte is "best left-footed defender in the world..." -> what's left for the Ake ?

Good player though...

...Injuries?

If Laporte, Zinchenko, Ake are all fit, one of Laporte/Ake will probably rotate LB while the other rotate CB. Certainly, this means Mendy's out the door.

Press conference at 1.30pm apparently.

Im anticipating only Ake will be unavailable for Everton although can’t see either Aguero or KDB being in the starting lineup.

15/20mins each at the end would be perfect just in time for arsenal, the champions league and the scum.

Sad for Ake..he must have had a grade 3 tear in the hamstring..months of recovery. The Gundog, KdB issue is more concerning, as we really need one of these guys playing. We do have the best squad to deal with these issues though.
The papers report how the Scousers injuries are severe, but just because we are top they dismiss the brilliance of Pep in his mangement in dealing with equally difficult injuries.

Wasn't sure where to put this but will put here for now.

Manchester City are in talks to trial a mouthguard that could help in the fight against brain injury.
It is understood the Premier League, FA, EFL, Women’s Super League, PFA and LMA have agreed to pilot the PROTECHT gumshield.
It is claimed the guard provides live data on head trauma and has already been used in rugby union and boxing.
No agreement has been reached with City as yet but informal talks with staff at the Etihad Campus have taken place.
English football has already agreed to trial concussion substitutes until the end of the season, with West Ham’s Issa Diop and Burnley’s Ben Mee already replaced under the protocol.
Diop scored in yesterday’s 3-0 win against Sheffield United after displaying no symptoms but Mee will miss tomorrow’s game against Fulham after it was confirmed he was concussed in a collision with Jordan Ayew at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Ilkay Gundogan is 'unlikely' to be available for #ManCity tomorrow, according to Pep Guardiola

Sergio Aguero is 'not fit' to start for #ManCity, and will be on the bench against Everton

: Kevin De Bruyne returned to full first-team training with the #ManCity squad today, and is 'getting better' according to Pep Guardiola
