Injury Updates

BBC Breakfast report that Raz and Henderson are not available for the Iceland match. The latter is 'added to Liverpool's injury list' but no mention of City's worse injury list.

Liverpool get sympathy
Public get misled
Job done
Again
We don't have a worse injury list than Liverpool though, do we?

We have Aguero, Fernandinho, Aké and Mendy out. 3 are expected back next week, Aké won't be long. Sterling is 50/50.

Liverpool have lost their first choice CB's for the next 6 months, Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are injured, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Thiago and Henderson out.

They very clearly have it worse than us injury-wise. Unless we pick up more injuries (touch wood) in 2 weeks we'll have everyone fit. Liverpool will still be missing several crucial first team players.

Why go to the trouble of whining about a conspiracy without checking if they do have it worse than us?

Because although the injury list is a constantly evolving situation they would always use in such a way as poor old Liverpool, victims once again.
Before VD became the first injured in a long time we has a lot out including a rather good goal scorer called Aguero, a much missed French defender and a versatile Brazilian. I am going to wait until they are playing until I count them as 'back'.
I find it extraordinary that you look at the injury lists as you do - minimising a large number of City injuries in favour of Liverpool because we are nearly back to full strength after serious injuries to many key players whereas Henderson was 'withdrawn as a precaution'.

Ps the BBC cannot be in a conspiracy with itself.

So you're upset because they didn't mention an injury crisis we are no longer in.

FFS some of you just need to stop fucking whining about every single mention of the club in the media. You find conspiracy in everything.

So we've not had an injury crisis? Where do you get your material - RAWK?
Are you against fair or equal treatment?

I thought everyone but Aké was available for spurs. Maybe not from the start but at least fit enough to play some part.
That's what I'm hoping we'll hear at tomorrow's press conference.

Aguero, Fernandinho and (I think) Mendy are all back in training. Sterling should have recovered by then too. It's just Aké who will probably still be out.

Still nothing on Aké?
I think he will be unavailable on Saturday and Sterling I would say will be rested or at best on the bench.

the only good news if you can call it that is that they missed the international games albeit 5 minutes in Ake's case and should be refreshed when they return.

Just in: Pep Guardiola has confirmed Fernandinho is NOT fit for this weekend's game as he has something in his stomach

Pep Guardiola: "Sergio [Aguero] trained this week and Raheem [Sterling], today, was the first training with the team

improving: "We are getting better. I don't speak about Tottenham, it's not my concern. We suffered players with a lack of condition, lot of players back except Nathan [Ake], Fernandinho and someone else, we are all back
