Which begs the question, why add him to the PL squad and not the CL one as there was space in both. I can only think it would trigger a clause and not worth paying the add-ons?

There wasn't, we can only register 4 home grown players for the CL as none were club trained. Ake takes up a foreign spot.

Iirc some of our previous lot of physios were enticed to Liverpool a few years ago...

Current City injuries - none
Current Liverpool injuries according to the press - death walks among them.
 
Everyone is fit according to Pep.

I'm guessing we'll see Aké involved tomorrow which means leaving a couple out of the squad completely. A good problem to have though!
