You've drifted way off your original post which was it was Sod's law that we lost KDB after resting the rest of the team. Which itself made no sense

I never thought my interpretation of Sods Law would ever come in for such scrutiny!

Someone with Club connections ** allegedly*** on Twitter,with good previous.

Says KDB Ankle is badly swollen,so can not be assessed until it reduces.

Anyone who has played a bit knows Ankles can swell like fuck,and go down after a few days.

You can go from barely being able to walk,to walking normally.

Hoping it is just sprained.

Fortunately doctors use medical books, not your book. Sprains are grade 1 to 3. Grade 1 is damage; Grade 2 is partial tear; Grade 3 is complete tear.

And that exactly what I’m saying!!!
Ligament injuries are graded 1-3 according to severity.
I suspect from what’s been reported that KdB has a grade 2 or 3 injury.
What bit is confusing you?
And by the way I have read plenty of medical books in my 35 yrs in the profession as well as looking after a football league club....
