The reports on his ankle really make it obvious why we got Jack in.

The more careful we can be with Kev the better, any extended period of time without him is worrying.
I thought we played our best football last season when KdB was injured and Gundo was playing further up field….

As a unit there was a good balance in that period you refer to, more dependent on team strength and system than individual contributions. However I also liked the play when Kevin was added as a false 9 or roving attacker, an attempt to benefit from his obvious star quality without losing the collective team ethic.
 
I’d love to know how many times over the years we’ve been able to field our best eleven consistently over a few weeks.

If I were City, I’d be sending Kev off for surgery now. You can get away with not being fully at it at the start of the season. We’ve got Grealish to fill his boots.

KDB went to see Cugat this summer and got the okay, so if surgery was necessary it would be getting done.
