Well well ……
Pep does talk sh1t at times RE injuries.

But delighted Dias is back, we need as many fighters and leaders on the pitch in the next 2 months and there are non better than this guy.

To be fair, he's likely only in light training so by the time he returns it probably will have been at least four weeks. As you say though, it'll be a huge boost to have him back for Liverpool, the CL QF and the run-in in general.
 
I think he just works on the basis of the worst case scenario, and if it's sooner then that's a bonus.
It might also be an opportunity for teams we might be playing to think we are weakened and then, ooooooh, he's back, so they are deflated an hour before the game kicks off.
