Hopefully it’s just one of those sore ones with no lasting damage.

To lose 3 perhaps 4 key defenders in such a short period of time is absurd but this team has grit written all over it.

Losing to Real was just one of those things that happens and we have shown we have character and resilience in spades which we need this year once again to win the title.

I think we are really feeling the lasting effects of the atletico second leg.

As much as these injuries are a culmination of the season as a whole, that dust up really hammered us.

Time we had some luck on the injury front , Dias , Walker and Stones all missing the run in and it might have been different in Spain.

We saw how Liverpool fared without a regular central defence in seasons gone by , not that good if I recall.

I think losing Stones and Walker killed us in the CL anyway. I also don't think we will ever win the CL till we sign a proper defensive left back. Most of the goals we concede start on our left side. I think Pep has now decided we have no choice but all-out attack and it has worked so far.
