Even if only one of Walker/Stones is available, we shouldn’t have to play Fernandinho as CB/RB at least
Stones & Walker both training
We risked both Stones in the Atletico home leg and Walker in Madrid. Walker will play and that to me settles my nerves a bit as he will cover Ferns lack of pace if Stones doesn’t make it.We won't risk them both if they're not properly ready, not because of fitness concerns though, its worth it in that respect, but because Pep isn't going to want to likely have to use 2 subs on defenders, it severely limits our options off the bench if we need to use it. One might start though jf they can do at least 45, walker would be the most beneficial to have, his pace is vital. If ake isn't fit I'd even play him at centre back with laporte
Does he, I didn't notice it in the clip. And Ake pulls up in that clip, typical lol
Yeah only one both times though and in a competition where we had 5 subs. Pep won't risk 2 together and almost wiping out our attacking options from the bench should they be required. One but not both and I'd sooner it be walker. We risked both Stones in the Atletico home leg and Walker in Madrid. Walker will play and that to me settles my nerves a bit as he will cover Ferns lack of pace if Stones doesn’t make it.
