Bloody stupid time to have a pointless international break especially after the break for the WC.
All international breaks are stupid imo where the Premier League stops for 2 weeks, does anybody actually like them?
Just have midweek internationals games (like they used to have )and leave the weekends alone. Maybe just get them out of the way/ shove a few on at the end of the season in the summers when there are no tournaments, a bit like an extended version of the old 'home internationals '(?)they used to have.

In this instance the 2 week break might have been a blessing as haaland would have defo missed fixtures. I still think its all mind games and he will line up against the dippers tho.

The only way Slabs can play is if he’s got Stones next to him. He’s one of the select group of players who immediately make those playing with him better. Even waistcoat has realised that, which is why he plays every minute that he’s fit.
I was rather surprised for a second or two that Kalvin was starting. That sub from Pep in the last game must have tipped it for Southgate!

What a load of shite.
As if city would allow him to travel if he had something bad going on.
And if he had something that bad he'd be under the knife or doing rehab of some description.

Who writes these fucking articles?

We might not have had the chance to keep him away. National teams have the right for their doctor's to assess a player's injury if they so choose.

Not sure if I'm recalling this correctly, but don't players have to report for International duty and be assessed by their doctors these days?? We may just not have reported it until the picture was clearer
Think it was introduced to stop the type of crap Bacon Face used to pull

Have to watch the Liverpool game in a bar in Turkey with mostly Scouse fans so he needs to be playing and scoring lol

That’s correct for competitive internationals (as was the case here with Haaland).
Doesn’t apply to friendly games.

He will be alright.

I think he travelled with the norway squad for courtesy and then there was that video of him signing some autographs the first day that went viral.

He didn’t want to let his country or fans down but nipped home quiety.

Quick stop off at the doc in barca and he will be grand for Liverpool
