Inter Milan (N) | Champions League Final | Post Match Thread

I don't even know where to start. I started a new bus driving job in February and its been crazy busy so just doing loads of hours and getting little sleep. I know i got 4 hours kip last night and probably similar the few nights before the game. Watched the game at home. I didn't even have the energy to go out. Back up at 3am today to start early.
Saw the post match celebrations which were great but reading reports today some are saying Gundogan was emotional and is leaving which would be bobbins. The videos of blues on that street the night before the match in Istanbul are amazing. It looks like there was no trouble at all. Well 1 man arrested in Manchester for trashing a police car...probably Fergie...not in his lifetime yeah right.
Any good videos, footage of players enjoying the celebrations...did the players go out with Pep, Sheik Mansour and the fans on he razzle?

Hopefully the parade will be brilliant tomorrow. Up the blues....keep the faith.

Inter were good last night and clearly had a plan to try and thwart us and more
which very nearly worked.
In addition I think physical and mental fatigue, together with City trying to ‘get going again’ after the period following winning the league clearly impacted the team’s performance last night and also in the FA Cup Final.
However in the end we won both matches and that’s all that matters.

Only just getting chance to post after celebrating last night and being suitably hungover today. Nothing new to add really, but just delighted and proud of Pep, the players and everyone connected with the club. It wasn't a vintage City performance, but our composure to dig in and see out the tight games has been really impressive this season. Fantastic to finally win the Champions League and doing it as part of a treble is just mind blowing.

Champions of Europe, now we sing that!

After a record-breaking six months, Manchester City's Julian Alvarez has booked his place in history as the first player to win a treble of European Cup, league and domestic cup - and a World Cup - in the same season.

Nine players before the 23-year-old Argentine forward had won the European Cup or Champions League and the World Cup in the same season - but none had won the domestic double as well.
Alvarez finishes the season as City's second top scorer with 17 goals, despite starting fewer than half their games, and was the third top scorer at the 2022 World Cup.

City won the Premier League title by five points from Arsenal, beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final and saw off Inter Milan in the Champions League final - after Argentina beat France in the World Cup final in December.

Alvarez did not get on the pitch in their 1-0 win over Inter in Istanbul but still got his hands on the trophy afterwards.
