He didn't. His pull back was deflected out to Rodri. IIRC, there were one or two half hearted appeals from a couple of our lads for handball (think Boulders was one).

Bloody hell, I completely forgot that despite having seen that goal so many times since. He does put it in the crowded area and it deflects out straight away. I remember having the time to think, never a handball but still shouting at the telly for a pen before Rodri buries it anyway.

Thanks mate. These are the ones I’ve seen a lot of previously though. The cameramen seemed desperate to get the iconic images of Håland with the trophy with City fans in the background or just Håland with the City fans in the background, but not Rodri. All the Rodri ones have the empty end in the background

It was nearly more of a pass, than a shot. The way he curled the ball around the two defenders between him and the goal was brilliant.
