Inter Milan (N) | Champions League Final | Post Match Thread

Anyone still trying to process what we achieved last season..keep watching highlights and getting goosebumps
It still doesnt feel real. I expected to be as emotional as i was for 2012 after. I just felt numb instead. Maybe my old city brain expecting us to playing in league 2 next season instead.

That'll be next season after we've been shafted.

The final whistle and after were very emotional moments. I’ve never seen so much happiness in my life. It was joyous to be part of it. I think it is my pinnacle moment following us. That, Stoke and QPR. Magic
True, very true, yet what came after it,getting away from the ground dampened it so badly,it shouldn't have done, but it did for me and all I saw around me,pure relief and exhaustion I suppose.

Will there be a DVD of our treble winning season?
Alas I suspect no,dvd or blu ray would have been nice, but all of that as a season souvenir have long gone along with a physical seasoncard , a membership to City TV and an expired seasoncard in your google pay app is the way forward apparantly.

I'm surprised City haven't released any proper behind the scenes footage of the build up, the match and the aftermath.
Could it be they’re going to release a six or seven parter (like other seasons) on City TV.
Cost of that thing, I don’t have it, is £5.99 a month, I trialled it when it was £1.99. I suspect with our growing worldwide fan base they’d make a small fortune getting people to subscribe to that.
I know our media people have their own studios now at City and I’m pretty sure it’s not just going to be used for making a three part documentary on the kids (currently being advertised on City website) so my guess is we’re going to have a big launch of a season review and I might just have to subscribe, if I can work out how to do it ;-)

It all seems to end up on the YouTube page anyway just with ads. It's why I gave up on City+ when they raised the price. I wasn't using it enough to justify it.

I’m 65 in January; when I was 50 I hoped for a cup final. Never did I imagine what we’ve witnessed. I was in Istanbul, but I got very emotional at the fan park. You see my younger brother died in 2008 (the night we beat WHU in the FA cup 1-0j. I’ve missed him and yearned for him everyday since. The only success he ever witnessed was Gillingham and a couple of promotions. When the song ‘Stop crying your heart out’ was being played and everybody joined in, I lost my composure and had to be comforted by my niece, his daughter.

I have no great recollection of the match, just the goal and the torture of the last 15 minutes as Inter decided to play. Five mins to go, I thought of my brother and begged him to make City win, if he could! He came through, just as he did for us in 2011, 2012 and even last season v Aston Villa. At the final whistle I of course was delighted, but too emotional to savour the enormity of what our magnificent club had achieved. I cried for my brother and thanked him for looking out for us again. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that was my experience. 5 weeks, later, I now feel we have reached the pinnacle, our destiny and I feel complete now. Thanks Tony. X
Touching post mate. I felt your emotion and there aren’t many more committed lifelong blues than you either.
