Inter Milan right-back Maicon has threatened that he could leave San Siro this summer.

What dya think guys do ya think we'd :-

1. Have a chance to sign him ?
2. Would he be what were looking for ?
3. Could we tempt him to come to city above the likes of Real and Chelsea ?

1. Real and Chelsea have been linked. If moves to them fail to materialize, then we at least have a shot.

2. He's an extremely classy player going forward, but not very impressive in defence. Having said that, if we continue to play two DM's, that's exactly the type of player we need for the position. I don't really know much about him beyond having seen him play a few times, so I cant comment on his character. He may not have premiership experience but I think we are going to stifle our options and the future development of the team if we over-prioritize this when looking at players.

Chelsea have Bosingwa and Real have Ramos, even if either of these were to get Maicon I'd take Ramos or Bosingwa orthere hands.

1- I don't know about city's chance to sign maicon but i think he want to leave because he's not treated as well as Ibra in the club ( i don't blame him really), the chances that he'd move 50% cause Moratti and mourinho both want him to stay.

2- I know people would think am biased becasue am an Inter fan but i really believe that he's the best right back in the world currently bar none. Poeple would argue about Dani alves that he's better but anyone who watched football long enough would know that Dani alves is more of a winger than a fullback even with the brazilian national team he's 2nd choice behind Maicon.

Maicon runs for 90 minutes non-stop up and down the field, good defender and a great in the attack. I remember reading an article about him that he's the 4rth highest assist in the league ahead of many attackers and midfielders !!

Always had a great attitude never complaints or makes problems but lately all the attention in the club is on Ibra which provoked him becasue he's the 2nd best player in the team and he doesn't have the attention that Ibra has.
