Was he playing last night? Didn't hear his name, if it's pronounced as it's spelt. Leipzig's defence could learn a thing or two from ours.

Yeah, but he got injured and was subbed at around the 70th minute

Judging by that video, which seems to highlight as many rash challenges as it does glimpses of talent, he looks to play right back. Could be Maffeo's replacement at Girona.

The Brazilian club has been struggling to convince Militão to sign a new deal, with his current one expiring in January.
It means that City can get him on a pre-contract in the summer window, which wouldn’t be unlikely, since any Brazilian kid would like to join Pep Guardiola’s side by now.

Brazilian outlet Lance also reports that São Paulo haven’t received any kind of contact from Manchester City so far. They also report that the negotiations for a new contract have been stalled since the start of the year.

Put 2 + 2 together and it’s no secret that Manchester City’s alleged interest would favour Militão in the contract negotiations, as São Paulo would obviously want to tie him up before negotiating with an European side.

Should rather wait till January and sign him for free, than offering 20m in the summer

The point of the article is that City aren't interested in him at all.

Well the Brazilian press (via City watch ofc) seem to agree with me. We're not that interested and he'd be one for the loan army anyway.
