Interesting goings-ons in the football league.

Ive only read bits about the fractions and parties involved.

Is it basically 2 different groups who want the power?
I am not fully involved or really up to speed on what is happening but your premise is correct, it is down to a few individuals stirring the shit. Some members of either party do not even speak to each other. I cannot see a way forward with these people involved in any potential resurrection. Meanwhile Gigg Lane is falling into disrepair.

Add to list as you see fit, I'm always curious to see the goings on in English football. Could be stadium updates, player transfers, managers to look out for, etc.

Championship
- Burnley are averaging 64% possession under former player Vincent Kompany and are on course to break the 100 point mark in the Championship.
- Michael Carrick has totally turned Middlesbrough around, taking them from 21st to 3rd playing an attractive brand of football.
- Exciting striker Ben Brereton (Blackburn) has already signed a pre contract to join Villarreal in June.
- 19 year old Alex Scott is attracting a lot of interest from top Premier League clubs as he is very much in the same mould as James Maddison.

League One
- Sheffield Wednesday are on course to win League one having gone 22 league games unbeaten.
- Second place will likely go to either Plymouth or Ipswich Town.

League Two
- Leyton Orient are on course to win the title.

Conference
- Wrexham have Hollywood owners in Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney and are selling out their stadium every week on course to smash the record Points total in the Vanarama Conference
- Notts County are not far behind them, playing great football under manager Luke Williams (Russell Martin former assistent)
Will be very interesting to see how Burnley and Middlesbrough fare when they go up

I’m assuming MFC will, whether they secure automatic or go to the playoffs

Be interesting to see Wrexham's wage bill.

I'd bet Paul Mullin will be earning more a week than the entire opposition starting 11's combined in quite a few of the games he plays.
£3k a week with bonuses i’ve been told, more than a lot of championship players.

Their money comes from the US blokes with white faces and perfect human rights records though so it’s all fine and above board of course.

I had read he was on 3x more than that, but that's probably internet bollocks.

Either way, massive wages for that level.
