turn off your pc..unplug your router from the power supply
wait a few minutes then restart your pc...wait for the pc to boot up then plug your router back in...this by rights should renew your ip address as you should be on a dynamic ip
a dynamic ip means you have a set ip address for a set time (on lease), this is renewed every few days or weeks
you can also force your pc to get a new ip address for you..as per the following
goto start menu then run...type cmd
a black text box will open up..
after the text saying summat like "C:\user\yourname...you will see flashing cursor
after this cursor type the following
ipconfig \all
after the flashing cursor again type ipconfig /release
then type ipconfig /renew
this should now release your old ip address and get a new one from your isp....its always worthwhile to bear this in mind as some ip's may have been previously banned by previous leasers
