If England want to have any chance of winning the Euro's then they have to use the the players in a system that suits them.

Vardy, Alli, Sterling, Walcott, Ox, Barkley, Sturridge and Welbeck all have pace and energy. Roy has to play a side that will hassle teams and can attack with pace.

The three immediate casualties of that system are Lallana, Milner and Rooney.

Slow build up. Keeper messing about,mid-field looked lost and slow, couple of good moves,not much movement up front, a deadly finisher,wingers cutting inside most of the time, centre back making crucial mistake.............does this remind you of anything ????????

Lallana and Clyne aside there shouldn't be a single L'pool or Everton player in the team. The diamond needs scrapping and we need to play a similar team/system to the Germany game, ideally Wilshere for Henderson.

Can seriously see Sturridge getting left behind. Vardy and Kane are better at present, Rooney will be going and starting. He can't play wing and for that we have Alli, Sterling, Lallana, Welbeck and even Walcott who are better out wide

The centre back position is a big issue, don't rate Smalling and Stones looks prone to errors lately.

Yup, been given a pretty torrid time as well. 2-0 down and it probably should be 4-0, not seen Portugal look so dangerous going forwards in a long time. Defensively Belgium are all over the place

Just seen a gif of Ronaldo standing Denayer up 1v1, Jason does well in fairness. It looked like Ronaldo of old though.

Jagielka was weak, didn't think it was much of a foul as it was him being completely done for strength on the surprise. Milner was dogger, I thought he was supposed to start CM? He ended up on the wing nearly every time.

I don't rate Stones, Walker is shite but Danny Rose is starting to come into his own lately. Keep it as it was against Germany and we might do OK.

Otamendi was suspended, he flew home earlier today.

As for England, really hope Welbeck goes and Sturridge gets left at home. His workrate and attitude is so much better than Sturridge's, no world beater but he consistently performs in an England shirt.
