It was never going to carry on for days on end, to be fair. Even when the vermin equalled (or broke) the scouser's record last season, I don't remember the papers banging on about it for day after day afterwards. Also, Chelsea had the CL final coming up the following weekend. Also; the Euros are taking place this so-called summer, not to mention the Olympics snoozefest, so our title win was never likely to feature for as long as we all would have liked.
