International Games | 12th - 19th November '25

Wonder how Norway could start all of Haaland, Sorloth, Nusa, Odegaard and Bobb.

Obviously they don't but Sorloth at RW seems to suboptimal

Nigeria and Cameroon, the two powerhouses of West Africa, not going to the World Cup. I watched the penalty shootout, and couldn't believe nothing was done about the bottles getting thrown on the pitch, aimed at the penalty takers, two of them nearly got hit.

Norway has a great attack, but a pretty horrible defense.
It has gotten much better. Much like City both defending and attacking is more of a whole team effort than a job done by a few select players. I suspect Solbakken has picked up a few things from watching Pep.

I realise that the PC argument is that every nation deserves to compete for a place at the major tournaments. But can anyone explain what benefit these hidings that the weaker nations get are to them? Or to their opponents. What would England (or France/Germany/Spain/Netherlands/etc) seriously gain from a 6 or 7 goal win? They'll have stiffer training sessions.
And then you look at the Faroe Islands, who got pretty close to qualifying. Nobody wants to see teams getting thrashed regularly but some would argue that it helps them to get better.

Norway will be unseeded so some poor bastards are going to draw them as their 'shit' team in the group.
They are 29th in the world rankings, there are 48 teams qualify.

They will be in at least pot 3, the ranking will go up after this week's 2 wins.

There is no way they will be pot 4.

Its ridiculous the amount of games our big fella keeps scoring in.
I don't follow international football but he keeps on scoring doesn't matter who he's up against.

I have no clue myself, but I saw some clever guys say that Norway is going to be drawn in pot 3 no matter what.

I wanted to watch Italy v Norway. I could have paid £2.49 to Amazon for ppv but I thought I'll see the goals later. No one has covered it. In fact the general European qualifying this weekend has hardly been covered at all. There was no highlights show.

What Haaland has done for Norway (and City) is amazing. He is a big news story but and yet at the same time the story does not get the publicity it deserves.

Luckily enough I was able to watch the Italy match on free to air in Ireland but , like you, was looking for a round up with goals of all the other matches.
All I see is those ridiculous shows taken by a phone
