Not Portuguese but it's because the manager/Portuguese FA haven't got the bollocks to leave him out and they'll justify it by saying he has 35 goals in 41 games in Saudi even though that league is barely professional.

If a manager leaves him out, they'd probably get sacked. It's pathetic really.

Yes, a deeper shade is what I have come to associate with Portugal, though I suppose the current version is closer to the colour of the flag.
