International games week commencing 9/11/15 Players going

Unfortunately the two goals conceded were in part down to errors by Hart and Sterling.
Some good, some bad from the City players tonight. The team in general were fucking awful in possesion and I doubt anyone will be in that dressing room thinking they had a good game.

First goal was because Sterling gave the ball away cheaply upfield with Bertrand looking to overlap him, allowing the Spanish RB to get up the other end unopposed and score a stunner. Second goal was because of Hart's poor sliced clearance.
Aye, the reason their RB scored an overhead kick from the edge of the area was definitely because we gave the ball away in our own half, for the only time in the entire match that happened. As for the second goal, again, if losing the ball in your own half is all that is required to concede a goal then we'd have let in 50 today. Having the new Glen Johnson at RB playing everyone onside has a lot more of an impact, as does having 2 CB's and a holding midfielder who cannot pass the ball forwards, pretty much crippling any chance the team has of playing football.

Out of interest, why the fuck is Carrick still getting called up? Utterly pointless player if you're playing against anyone who is going to put any pressure on him whatsoever, he can't turn so just has to pass it back to whoever gave it to him.

The problem with English players, they don't play abroad, that's where the problem lies. Average, rare brilliance type players like Sterling are given zero incentive to go abroad to develop their skills when they are given free ride by teams like City, who've only bought him for 50m because he is English. Teams like Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Spain are successful teams, not because they have great players but their players have adapted well to foreign leagues and have developed their talent.

Nothing like a rag coming on slagging city players
Not slagging them off, Hart also made a good save off the line from Mata. Sterling was disappointing though.

Point is doesn't matter who they play for, this is England under Hodgson. Everyone was getting giddy over going 10 matches unbeaten against dross in the qualifiers.

Actually the starting XI did well. The substitutions upset the balance of the team in no small measure.

Still, at least Rooney got a game.

Fabregas basically just called England shit without actually saying it, if you know what I mean.

Horrible tactics.. Spanish players are full of skill and instinct. No magic for England..
