Let's be clear here.....apart from Coleman, ALL of the Ireland players are wank. But the media will continue to blow smoke up their arse between now and the Summer. I've always wondered......do the Irish media cover the England football team in the same way?

Not a fan of any Martin O'Neill team - his style of play leaves me numb but I guess that's largely down to the players he has available (see my point above). Bit it will be great for the Euros will all those Irish fans enjoying the craic, drinking all day and not causing any trouble - u like those nasty

A good win tonight. Ciaran Clark was brilliant tonight in defence. Walters took his goals well. Bosnia aint that great there defence is worst than Irelands its that bad decent going forward.

The makings of a decent team but we need to rob a striker badly. Hopefully next Euros we get a few goals and a win or 2 compared to the last 1 we were shocking in that 1. I am happy as a pig in shite lol. Weres me drink.

I wouldn't be a fan of O'Neill's style of play either. But he's got a limited squad to pick from (quality-wise), and has got the best out of what's available to him with Ireland. That's all any manger can do, really. And to be fair, not all their players are wank. Robbie Brady is a tidy little player, the same with Hoolahan. Long is a decent enough player, and they seem to have unearthed a good young 'keeper in Randolph. All that being said, I'm sure the likes of Germany, Italy, Spain, England, France etc won't be shitting bricks at the thought of playing them!

Oh I think England would shit themselves as they clearly don't have the quality to deal with a hard working team. I'll give you Robbie Brady - he's even got an Irish accent - but Hoolahan and Long are Championship players at best. Long is actually one one of the biggest cheats around.

Just back from the game, never seen atmosphere like that at an Irish football game before! Much like being a city fan in the dark days, we're not under any illusions that were good but its moments like tonight that makes it worth it.

I honestly think there is a few gems in that squad waiting to break onto the next level. I look at Ciaran Clark and think if he stays fit for Ireland him at centre back will bee a strong defender. Marc Wilson I always liked but he cant get a run of games hopefully that changes.
Midfield I think were struggling. McCarthy holding midfield will do well. Brady will do ok but is over rated over here which is madness. McClean is playing well but is a bit nuts.
McGeady needs to get regular football. I think Jeff Hendrick could well be a dark horse to have a decent Euros.
Forwards were fucked. Long is the only 1 who will cause teams problems with his speed but cant finish for fuck. We need to get someone in but going with Long and Walters will be ok but it aint going to cause teams problems.
