International games week commencing 9/11/15 Players going

No. I think this England team are beyond average. If I'm being honest, I'd put a lot of that down to the manager - England play a very boring game, they're dull to watch. However, that may well be because the players just aren't that good. I suppose the Euros will tell - but it won't be exciting football that'll do the business, it'll be a battle of attrition.

so none of the players mentioned are any good ? completely disagree with that, most of them are only 21/22 and have been fantastic this year. I agree with the manager, you dont need 11 world class players though to win games or play well. examples like chile in the world cup.

I think that's a tad unfair. There's a group all under 22/21 who look decent. Sterling, Kane, Ox, Barkley, Dele Alli, Shaw, Dier, Stones, Butland, Ibe, Berahino and are getting decent experience. Yes Hodgeson is dull, but he won't be here forever. I can't remember so many youngsters involved so young. If they can get to 25 ish with 30 /40 odd caps each, things could turn out ok! Future certainly looks better than a few years ago to me!!

their fuckin garbage, they get a game cos there's no one else, the media got all giddy cos they pissed the qualifying group against even bigger crocks of shite & true to form soon as they came up against anything half decent(a team that didn't even get out of 2nd gear)it was back to men against boys again

wasn't really about the football tonight. but i thought england played a lot better some faster passing and more energetic, we have a good core of young players coming through
I agree, after a very slow start, we started to play some good football, and it was a very young team, I think that not having a "golden generation" of super stars will actually help, I still don't see them winning anything yet, but I think that we're improving.

Tonight is probably not a good game to judge though, as the French didn't offer much, unsurprisingly.

Ferny not starting which is good news.

Lets hope we can start against Liverpool with only Bony and Delph unavailable.

Ouch. Not for the squeamish.
