Scotland have played well. Hit the woodwork twice and decent save from the Dykes header but they rode their luck and the Poles created some really clear cut chances they fluffed
They are playing at a level above where they are. 42 year old keeper, Ralston not even first choice at his club, Scotland don’t have a goal scorer and started tonight with someone from the third tier of English football and he’s Australian ffs!
Highlights are the midfield
It's a sign of good coaching and management...;)
Seriously, the difference a fit Tierney, Ferguson, Hickey would make to the side too.
We've done very well to get 7 points from that group, given what we have to work with. In saying that, it's tinged with regret that we came so close to getting a result in both Lisbon and Zagreb. A result our performances would probably have merited.
It is what it is. If we win the playoff in March to remain in Nations league A, that would be considered a success.
Performances have generally been pretty good - bar horrible friendlies against Northern Ireland, Finland and competitive fuck ups against Germany and Hungary at the euros (Germany one I can excuse to a particular point).
