Scotland have played well. Hit the woodwork twice and decent save from the Dykes header but they rode their luck and the Poles created some really clear cut chances they fluffed

They are playing at a level above where they are. 42 year old keeper, Ralston not even first choice at his club, Scotland don’t have a goal scorer and started tonight with someone from the third tier of English football and he’s Australian ffs!

Highlights are the midfield

It's a sign of good coaching and management...;)

Seriously, the difference a fit Tierney, Ferguson, Hickey would make to the side too.

We've done very well to get 7 points from that group, given what we have to work with. In saying that, it's tinged with regret that we came so close to getting a result in both Lisbon and Zagreb. A result our performances would probably have merited.

It is what it is. If we win the playoff in March to remain in Nations league A, that would be considered a success.

Performances have generally been pretty good - bar horrible friendlies against Northern Ireland, Finland and competitive fuck ups against Germany and Hungary at the euros (Germany one I can excuse to a particular point).

Poland are dire these days. The Scots should have won easily against them at Hampden. They gave away two awful penalties to lose.
Was that the time Hanley put in the mistimed challenge in injury time? I’ve been wracking my brains trying to think which game that was

I did say after the Croatian game that Clarke deserved great credit. OK it was through gritted teeth hahaha

What a cross from Big Soapy who has been excellent this season

He's been tremendous in the nations league. That cross is not typical of a centre half!

Well done to young lads of Northern Ireland finishing top of the group. Another decent performance apart from a short spell in 2nd half.

Does Tierney get back in to this defence? Possibly for Hanley ?

Hickey and Patterson have had long term injuries and we have to wait and see how they return. Obviously Ralston is not at that level but he’s a trier and always gives 100%

A fit Lewis Ferguson comes in for Kenny McLean

Still need a reliable Keeper and a goal scorer. Btw that’s no slight on Gordon. It’s incredible he’s still performing at this level at 42 but can’t go on forever

It’s a shame because deep down I want England to do well and I’d like to be a fan, but the way the media and other English fans have treated our club I just can’t get involved so fuck em! I can’t tell you the last time I watched an England game. Roll on Saturday, up the blues!
