So they essentially put that out of sight tonight, Italy now have to beat Norway and hope they drop points elsewhere.

Well in Odegaard's case he's been injured for Arsenal and could only come on for the last 20 at Anfield. In Haaland's case he's their main striker and probably 9 goals ahead makes the match safe and not worth risking an injury

They showed Scotland Morocco here, and Morocco won 3-0 I think, wee Jim Leighton's last game for them and he didn't do well. Morocco thought they had qualified then despair and anger after the Norway result came in with 2 late goals.

Probably needed Eurosport to watch the Brazil game here.

Given Italy's form away at Estonia isn't going to be easy. Norway winning at home to Israel then Estonia needed to be 99.9% there. Norway 4/7 to win the group Italy 11/8.
