He played well for us. Confidence is a big thing with keepers though and he does look a bit dodgy in this game.
and having been dropped by Forest after a couple of poor performances his confidence wold have been low anyway

We have a % and an option to match any bid, which means we can buy him for less than anyone else.

No don't think so, possibly a percentage of next sale which could help but don't think we even have that. However, if Sane is going (looking likely) then I reckon he'd be itching to come back to us.
If he's got any sense he'd only consider us or Liverpool and I don't think they could afford him, nor have a spot in their starting 11 for him.
