On Vista, for a couple of weeks now, when I have tried to open Internet Explorer, I get a window popping up that says Internet Explorer has stopped working and is searching for a solution, but then makes me close the window.

The only way I can get on the net is to run Explorer as an administrator. Does anyone know how I can sort this?

Cheers all

Firefox is on another level completely to IE.

I think everyone who's used both would agree.

I'm sure that its a myth firefox is better. I read somewhere IE is one of the most complex browsers - well can be if it is used to its fullest potential.

Nope I use both and have more problems with Firefox than I do with I.E, Sometimes I have issues connecting to sites with Firefox but try the same site with I.E 10 seconds later and they open fine.

Hmmm i can post in here on firefox but not on IE ?.........whats that all about i wonder lol

It was precisely its power that made it insecure in the first place.
